Why did you enter the Investors in People 2023 Awards? 

Entering the awards is about taking the time to recognise our employees for the work they put in to help us all maintain our “people first” approach to running our business. The recruitment industry has a number of its own awards, but the IIP awards are held in high regard as they cover all industry sectors, and all organisations size up and down the country.

What has it meant to you, your team and your organisation to be shortlisted for an Investors in People 2023 Award?

It goes without saying that we are very proud to be shortlisted for an IIP Award! This year our HR Manager has been shortlisted for HR Person of the Year, so we are especially proud to recognise her achievements in implementing our people practices.

What would it mean to your organisation to win an Investors in People 2023 Award?

Within our organisation we talk a lot about the importance of putting our people first. Winning an award would help us highlight that we genuinely deliver against what we set out to do with our people practices. Our people practices are genuinely the foundation of our business, and being recognised for that approach we hope will inspire other organisations to do the same.

How important is it for your organisation to be a part of the Investors in People community and engaged in awards and events like this one?

We have been working with IIP for a number of years and have found that the practices we have put into place as a result of working to the IIP framework have had a significant, positive impact on our business. Our values are very much aligned with IIP and other organisations that are part of the IIP community. Collectively we can promote a better working environment for all UK businesses.
