Aconveyancing are specialists in all aspects of residential property transactions, providing conveyancing services and legal advice. They are based in Midlands and have been nominated for the Employee Engagement award, Best Flexible Working Policy award, and founder and director, Natalie Moore (pictured) has been nominated for Leader of the Year.
Why did you enter the Awards?
We are committed to the implementing the improvements that the Investors in People standard has brought into our business, whether this be our employee performance reviews, charity partnership work and engaging with employees in a pro-active way.
This is our second year of entering the Investors in People awards and at Aconveyancing we use the process as a way to reflect on what we have achieved over the previous year.
What was the key point of your entry?
As our busines grew quickly over the last five years from 1 office to 4, keeping an open and consistent line of conversation with our employees became increasingly important. Particularly with more flexible ways of working meaning that not all employees are in the office on a day-to-day basis.
As part of the Investors in People review, we spoke with our advisor about best practice when it came to employee engagement across offices. With her support, we established our Investors in People ambassador team back in early 2021.
One person from each office is voted as the IiP representative in their respective office and attends a quarterly group meeting to discuss staff issues and review the progress of any active projects. The ambassadors support with ideas around charity partners, staff training requests and general ways to make work as productive and enjoyable for employees.
It’s proved to be a hugely successful way to regroup across the business and for staff to sound out any concerns or new ideas. It’s also a great way for staff members from different offices to re-connect and share feedback from their team.
What would it mean to you to win?
It would be absolutely amazing to win this award. As a relatively young business in a tough part of the law industry, we are committed to driving positive change in conveyancing through integrity, transparency and innovation.  Winning this award would validate our unwavering commitment to this mission as well as being a huge achievement for the Investors in People ambassadors in our office, who work really hard to uphold the values of the accreditation.
